Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. is the parent company of Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., the sixteenth largest domestic airline in the United States. Founded in 1929, Hawaiian is consistently recognized as a leader in on-time service and superior baggage handling, and has been rated one of the “10 Best” U.S. airlines by readers of Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure for the past several years. The Company has a fleet of 25 aircraft and offers nonstop service to Hawaii from more U.S. gateway cities than any other airline. Hawaiian also provides approximately 100 daily jet flights among the Hawaiian Islands, as well as service to Australia, American Samoa and Tahiti.
Hawaiian emerged from bankruptcy on June 2, 2005 at which time it was reconsolidated with Hawaiian Holdings which trades on the American and Pacific exchanges under the symbol “HA”.
